Assateague Island, Maryland, is one of my favorite barrier islands to visit. This plein air series was created in the midst of the salt marshes, along the bayside. The peaceful, remote feeling takes me away from the hustle and bustle of life, where I can immerse myself and study the changing light of this tiny island setting.
